There are a range of subjects and qualifications that can be achieved by studying at college including: A/AS Levels, Vocational A Levels and GNVQs.

You may have to do lots of reading, assignments and sometimes exams and you will mainly work in a classroom. Some courses may include a work experience placement - check the course details for more information.

You will work to develop your key skills - application of number, communication and information technology. In many cases you will also work towards the wider key skills of problem solving, improving your own learning and performance and working with others.
